Windmill Windup
Kelly Convoy is 13-years-old and one of the most ambitious ball players on her team. Her dream is to become a member of the USA Women's Softball Team and win a gold medal at the Olympics. But for now, Kelly is concentrating on improving her skills and helping her team, the Devil Rays, win the league championship. She can't wait for the season to start!
But all at once Kelly's life seems headed for disaster. Her mom, who divorced her dad a couple of years ago, is dating a man named Ken and Kelly can't stand him. And now she finds out she's been assigned to another team! Even though Kelly has always been a power hitter and a fast runner she starts having major problems hitting a pitch. Her problems at home are causing Kelly to lose her concentration. And then there's that cute boy she likes, who just happens to be flirting with the best player on the team. Will Kelly be able to make friends with her mom's new boyfriend and work out her problems on the field too?
