Letter from Booker T. Worm
The wormkids and I are going to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets right after school on Friday. They are so excited. Don't the coming attractions look great? There are some books that are movie tie-ins that you can read more about this week. See our link below for more details.

This week there's lots to share with you including updates to our Series book feature. We added a lot of new books, and even are telling you when the NEXT book will be out for many of the Series titles that we have covered. If you have a favorite series that we have not done, please drop me a note at

Do you have plans for Thanksgiving? I would love to hear about them. My next door neighbor is going to travel to visit his grandparents, and if it is cold enough, they might even go ice skating on the lake. He is really looking forward to that trip. I have never ice skated, and I think if I tried it, I'd fall down a lot! I think I'd rather sit back and watch other worms skate! That is a lot safer.

Are you making your holidays lists? Be sure to put some books on them. Grownups LOVE to buy books, and it's much better when you TELL THEM what you want!

Keep reading...we have a lot to share this week....

Thanksgiving Books
It seems like this year is going by so fast! It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away! We are already starting to make plans for the holiday in my family. My sister, Faye Belle, is going to have the whole family over for a huge turkey dinner. Our mother is going to make her famous pecan pie for dessert, and I am going to bring the vegetables from my own garden. We will eat a big dinner together, and then the little wormkids will tell the others different stories about Thanksgiving. Each cousin, niece, and nephew under the age of 12 will help tell the stories. They will use several books from our BOOKWORM feature on Thanksgiving. The books there are about Thanksgiving from the past, and the present. My nephew is going to tell the story of being a turkey named Turk. I do not know about you, but I sure would not want to be a turkey in November! Yikes!

Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on how much our family and friends mean to us and the perfect time to spend time with people we love. Why not start a new tradition and share a Thanksgiving book with one of your favorite people? We've got several good choices in our roundup.
