Archives - Kidsreads Newsletter

February may be the shortest month of the year, but there are times when it feels like the longest. For us, this winter has been pretty wacky --- some days have been rainy and warm, others have been snowy and freezing. But no matter what the temperature, our favorite winter escape is always a good book.

Our January newsletter is arriving late. Where did that month go?

One reason for the delay is that there's so much going on at Kidsreads.com that we needed a few extra days to get it all posted for you. There's lots to be excited about! First there's the announcement of all the award-winning books of the year, which include the Newbery and Caldecott winners. We're sure you have heard teachers and librarians talk about these awards, which are some of the most prestigious ones in children's books. Then there's an all-new Books into Movies for January, featuring Nanny McPhee and Curious George. And for those of you who can't get enough Curious George, we have all the details on the tie-in books that are being released in time for the movie.
