Varsha Bajaj

Born in India, Varsha came to America, as a graduate student in 1986. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Southern Illinois University and worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor in St. Louis, Mo. 
Always a lover of the written word, Varsha found her passion and began writing for children in 2000. 
Varsha’s upcoming titles include Abby Spencer goes to Bollywood (Whitman, 2014), a funny touching middle grade and Our Baby (Nancy Paulsen Books), a lyrical picture book to be illustrated by Eliza Wheeler.
Varsha is also the award winning author of How Many Kisses Do You Want Tonight? Illustrated by Ivan Bates (Little Brown, 2004) and T is for Taj Mahal: An India Alphabet book illustrated by Robert Crawford (Sleeping Bear Press, March 2011).
