Jennifer was born into a fantasy loving military family. She grew up as a big fan of comics, reading and drawing animals (especially bunnies). Her art has been featured on the covers of comics, chapter books, middle grade, graphic novels, portrait drawings and children magazine illustrations.
Society of Illustrators West has honored Jennifer with two awards. Her work has also been included in the 3x3 picture book show. It has also been featured multiple times in the Best of Contemporary Fantastic Art Annual: Spectrum.
Her clients include Ladybug Magazine, Scholastic, Harper Festival, Zonderkidz, Disney consumer Products, Dark Horse Comics, IDW and First Second Books.
